From conversation to working file.

STEP 1 OF 4

Bring your files into the conversation.

Give the AI your local notes and plan so it knows where to begin.

Change the tool.
Keep the work.

Your project should go wherever you do.

When the documents, conversations, decisions, and instructions live together in your own files, you have a working record you can carry into another AI tool. The next conversation can begin with the context you have already built.

We call this de-siloing: keeping your work in a filing system you control, ready to use beyond the service where it began. It is the idea behind Exoris OS and ExoWork.

Keep your momentum

If one service reaches its usage allowance, you can bring the saved project context to another service you already use and continue there. You have a way forward while the first allowance renews.

Make your access go further

Use the tools and subscriptions you already have more flexibly. Choose where to continue based on the task, your available usage, and your budget.

Make collaboration easier

Share the relevant project files with a colleague or another AI assistant. The brief, previous decisions, and preferred way of working can travel with the project.

The principle is simple: preserve the context, then bring the relevant material into the next tool. Each service has its own file support, context capacity, and usage limits. ExoWork starts with DeepSeek; broader provider support is in development.

Keep the context.
Carry the work forward.

What is ExoWork?

ExoWork is a browser by Tectonic Apps that connects AI conversations with local files. It is designed for everyday knowledge work: researching, drafting, planning, learning, and organizing information.

Where is my work saved?

You choose the workspace where ExoWork saves your files and conversation archives. Material you share with an AI service is sent to that service and handled under its terms. Local file ownership does not mean the AI runs offline.

Which AI service does it use?

The current build starts with DeepSeek. Broader provider choice is part of the product direction. ExoWork supplies the browser and file capabilities; the AI service supplies inference under its own account terms and usage limits.

When can I try it?

ExoWork is in development for Mac and iPad. Public availability and download details will be announced here when they are ready.
